8 2.6.2018 Anfavea’s balance T he sales of trucks showed strength in January, and registered a rise of 54.8% from January last year. 4 thousand 451 units were sold, a number obtained as a result of the completion of Fenatran’s signaled businesses, in October. According to Anfavea this year will be marked by the increase in sales of heavy goods, due to the demands of agribusiness, and in the semi-heavy, a model required by the retail distribution sector. In January, 7 thousand 455 trucks were produced, a volume that grew 57.2% comparing to the one that left the lines in January last year. Although exports continue as the main fuel of the factories installed here the domestic market has been favorable to the sales to some specific sectors.
