The P8 phase of Proconve, Program for Control of Air Pollution by Automotive Vehicles, begins to be applied in 2022 for new models commercialized in Brazil and in 2023 for the whole line. Em paralelo o governo do Estado de São Paulo anunciou autorização para que as montadoras utili- zem créditos acumulados de ICMS em compras de ferramentais. O decreto que regulamenta a medida prevê que os fabricantes de veículos e autopeças transfiram o volume acumulado para empresas que atuem no setor de ferramentaria. Por fim, o Conama, Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente, publicou a resolução 490, que estabelece novas exigências para o controle de emissões de gases poluentes e de ruídos para veículos automotores pesados.
